Return & Refund Policy for Telecommunications & Electronics

At Queen City Communications, we want every customer to feel confident when purchasing telecom, internet, and security equipment from us. If you’re not completely satisfied, we’ll do our best to make it right. Please read our full electronics return policy below.

30-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date. After 30 days, unfortunately, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and in the original packaging

  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required

  • Returns must be authorized through Queen City Communications

Please do not return items to the manufacturer, as this will delay or void your refund.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of the telecom and electronics industry, the following products are not eligible for return:

  • Opened or installed hardware (e.g., satellite receivers, security cameras, wireless bridges)

  • Custom-built kits or configured systems

  • Software or digital license keys

  • Downloadable manuals or firmware

  • Gift cards

  • Final sale or clearance items

  • Consumables such as cable rolls, adhesive mounts, or weatherproof housings

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply if:

  • The product is not in original condition

  • Packaging is damaged or components are missing

  • Items show signs of use or installation

  • The return is requested after 30 days and approved at our discretion

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you by email about the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Delayed or Missing Refunds

If your refund hasn’t arrived:

  1. Recheck your bank or credit card account.

  2. Contact your card issuer or bank — processing time can vary.

Exchanges

Exchanges are only available for defective or damaged products.
Please email us at queencitycommunications306@gmail.com with your order number and a description (and photo, if possible) of the issue to start the exchange process.

Gift Orders

If the product was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, we’ll issue a gift credit upon approval of the return. If the gift was sent to the purchaser first, the refund will be issued to the original buyer.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item).
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and insurance for higher-value telecom equipment such as NVRs, PTZ cameras, or network bridges.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
