The Dakota Alert DCRH-4000 is a professional-grade wireless driveway alarm system designed to monitor traffic on driveways, private roads, or business entrances using a rubber hose sensor. When a vehicle drives over the 25-foot rubber air hose, the transmitter detects the change in pressure and wirelessly sends an alert signal up to 1 mile away to the included DCR-4000 receiver.
Unlike motion-based sensors, this air hose system is uniquely suited for applications where only vehicles should trigger alerts—reducing false alarms from animals, wind, or foot traffic. This makes the DCRH-4000 ideal for farms, remote entrances, gated driveways, gas stations, or any location where accurate vehicle detection is critical.
The transmitter is weatherproof for outdoor use and powered by a 9V battery, offering up to a year of life under normal usage. The receiver plugs into any standard wall outlet and features adjustable volume, a choice of 12 alert tones, and the ability to support up to 16 transmitters/zones—each customizable with a distinct chime for multi-zone monitoring.
