Description
This DIY dual-lens calving camera system is built for ease of use and high-quality video coverage. It includes two Uniview IPC9312LFW-AF28-2X4 dual-lens PTZ cameras with 4x zoom for full pen and close-up monitoring. A Ubiquiti wireless point-to-point bridge provides stable wireless video transmission from your barn to the house or shop.
A 4-channel Uniview SENVR501-04B-P4 NVR with a 2TB surveillance hard drive handles local video storage and playback. Power loss is covered by two UPS battery backups, and all connections are managed by a 4-port PoE switch, mounted inside an outdoor junction box.
Cabling includes four 100ft outdoor Cat6 cables for the cameras and wireless gear, Cat6 patch cables, an HDMI cable, and a wireless mouse. This setup is ideal for small to mid-sized operations needing a dependable calving camera setup.
