The Dakota vehicle probe alarm DCPA-4K-PLUS is a professional-grade wireless driveway alarm system designed for accurate vehicle detection. Utilizing a magnetic vehicle probe, it senses large moving metal objects like cars and trucks, ensuring reliable detection without false alarms from animals or environmental factors.
The system includes a 50-foot direct burial cable connecting the probe to a weatherproof transmitter, which operates on four CR123A batteries. When a vehicle passes within approximately 10–12 feet of the probe, the transmitter sends a wireless signal up to one mile to the included RE-4K Plus receiver. The receiver offers 16 different chime tones, allowing you to distinguish between different zones or sensors.
