Description
The Dakota Alert DCMA-4000 is a long-range wireless driveway alarm system designed to detect motion from vehicles or people entering your property. Utilizing a passive infrared (PIR) sensor, it can detect motion up to 50 feet away within a 100-degree field of view. Once motion is detected, the sensor transmits a wireless signal up to one mile to the receiver, ensuring timely alerts.
The system includes a DCMT-4000 motion sensor transmitter and a DCR-4000 receiver. The receiver offers 12 different chime tones, allowing you to distinguish between different zones or sensors. It can support up to 16 transmitters, making it scalable for larger properties. The motion sensor is powered by a 9-volt battery (not included) and is designed for outdoor use, making it suitable for driveways, entrances, backyards, or other areas you wish to monitor.
Installation is straightforward, with the sensor mounting easily to a post or wall. The receiver plugs into a standard wall outlet and can be placed anywhere within your home or office. This system provides an effective solution for enhancing the security of your property by alerting you to any movement in designated areas.
